I took this picture of you guys at “Robert’s” restaurant. I believe I have the original somewhere here.
You, Phill Williams, Dan, Tim Wilson and sadly forgot the other guy’s name. The $100. Bill was a running joke as we had a friend who would always pull out a $100. bill when it came time to split the check. (Harder to break back then) and the rest of of us would end up paying for him time after time. Phil was not aware of this scam and grabbed it once to look at it and then handed it to the waiter. Who had no trouble taking it. 😂
Have you ever been hooked on to cigarettes? I recall a marvellous someone writing "doctors of the poison path must leave smoking behind " ( paraphrase )
That was such a pivotal time in many of our lives. Lizbeth has shared the back story of the $100 bill. I became famous in our Venice group for cracking ‘The Toby Code’ The Sidewalk was such a great place to hang out, I do remember experiencing an earthquake there, I know it was New Year’s Day must have been 76/77? Everyone hopped over the wall, and some actually made it back to pay their checks❗️I will always remember you ringing the doorbell at Turret Grove Clapham, I answered to find you standing there, quite spiffily dressed as I recall, with a huge bunch of red roses 🌹…for Mary, the rest is history.
Fond memories of a wonderfully exciting time in our lives which eventually brought me to the US to live and call home.

Hardy Fox, Snake Finger & the Vestal Virgins, Ralph Records,...what a great time for music & art.
Snake Finger! one of my favorite guitarists of one of my favorite bands. The Residents.
We would visit the Resident's studio back when with Philip. They were very nice and kind people.
What a great memory Lizbeth! Thank you!
