Just curious, were you going to high school there at the time?
I had dropped out of HS at that time, I went back after 2 years.
I then went on to college shortly after.
I also met Allen when I was 16 in Albuquerque after a poetry reading, but he kept calling me "Buttercup" which I found rather offensive haha
Allen being "Allen".
